Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, from Atlanta with Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation living in Atlanta, beginning with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. She inherited her father's interest in the theater at an early stage. When he was a student at Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University as well as elsewhere in Atlanta. He joined the Air Force and while stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. The two married in 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter along with his wife left the military in 1957, and they both enrolled Walter to Tulane University. In 1960, the family relocated to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday matinee local TV show for children named Bum Bum and His Buddies from 1964. In the same year, they made a living from it. The following year they started The Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for a period of six years. In 1965, they welcomed two young children, Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
