Laura Linney's portrayal as vulnerable, yet strong characters has earned her the title of one of today's greatest American actors. While working as a summer intern at the company of her father, Laura Linney became fascinated with the theatre. After that, at Brown University she studied acting as well as at Juilliard School, after which, her career took off. Following her graduation from Brown University she began her Broadway debut soon afterward. In the space of two years from that, her first film was released and the following year, her debut on television. Her appearances have been on a variety of shows on stage, television and film shows since that time. In her professional career, she has won numerous awards including her two Golden Globe Awards. In spite of her many accolades, she is still a lover of theatre and has appeared on stage and screen.
