Katherine Heigl admits her childhood in a white bubble, and how this realization affected the way she raised adopted multiracial children. The "Firefly Lane" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor revealed in an interview recently that -- when it came to skin color -- it didn't matter to her the way she looked when she was younger, but once she talked with her older sister who was adopted by South Korea, she realized how differently society viewed the two of both. When I inquired of Meg what she thought of her treatment while out in public, either in the presence of or without parents, it was different. Meg replied, "Oh, yes, every times! Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I was aware of how foolish I had caused me to feel." The actress said that she was angry but felt she needed use that anger to aid her adopted daughters. Heigl has a son who is four year with Josh Kelley, her husband for the past 13 years. The couple took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8), who is black and was adopted in 2009.
